Planning for the end of oil

aAn interesting view of looking at oil in comparison to other materials and their structures. Although I do not completely agree I like the different view of looking at this problem through structure and developments in technology. I believe that the future innovations are discounted in the process of technological evolution and for that reason I partially agree with Mr. Sears but on the other hand numbers are playing against his ideas and since we do not have any ideal system for getting more energy out of oil it is debatable. But there is something about the quote at the end of the video:  “The stone age didn’t end because we run out of stone”.
