GBPUSD, playing the after effect of the NEWS spike
Different VARIATION of a NEWS PLAY I have mentioned here. If I would not be a pussy, I would have hold until the final spike towards +3R. Overall +1.8R
Idea: go short on a break of NEWS spike LOW if FLIPPED BRACKET holds.
Cons: goin against the overall bullish trend in GBPUSD
Pros: flush of those longs who got in early before the NEWSÂ which turned out to be worse then expected
Strategy: observe PA after news release. If symmetrical structure starts to form (flips holding each other), look for breakout of the news spike low. In this case it got even better because the news spike low was at a level tested over several trading sessions in the past week.
