Winners vs loosers – 7vs2 (20.10.2010)

Lately I have been working on my trading statistics. My trading journal is becoming more complex and more connected with other parts of my trading. By this I mean that my trading journal is now backed-up on daily basis(via dropbox) and is connected automatically to my "weekly analysis", "emotional analysis", etc… where data are analyzed via Excel and stored on the Internet via Open Flash Charts . I have been also working on new money management method. So far just in the demo and micro pips conditions. For that I have been a good student of several books looking for some fresh ideas in Money Management Strategies for Futures Traders & A Trader's Money Management System. I am planning to write about this topic in a more detail fashion soon.

Well that is what I am working on when I am not trading. This week I have been trading morning afternoon session and both yesterday sessions so far with +52pips profit. Today I was able to squeeze out +31pips with 7winners and two losers. Looking at the losers today I was able to quickly identify I am on the wrong side of the trade. Looking at the winners I am positive :), but some of my exits were bit premature and some death sharp. Well that is how it usually goes with trading – you can't expect perfect results, you can only expect perfect self-behaviour. Amen.
