Planning Trader – Van Tharp Test

I have just taken Van Tharp test. It have found out about it on http://www.tradergav.com/. It is a simple test with 35 questions and it wont take you more then 5 minutes. Although I think Mr. Tharp is a good writer and of course good salesman I take these kind of reports with reserve. The report has 7 pages and it is trying to describe you through what you are good at and what you should improve. I am not sure on what algorithm Mr. Tharp base this test but of course the truth is always somewhere in the middle. I think anyone who would read my results would agree that we share portion of everything what is written in my results. More or less. It is like a star signs. When people read them they think: "wow, it is really about me" but it is telling you what you wanna hear and we all are bits of every sign. It just depends on circumstances. Anyway although I am not a big fan of these test i find this one quite good.

Btw I would recommend the Myers-Briggs test. It is not test about trading abilities but about your personality and it is world known standard for human typology. So you can find some answers there too as well. But as I have said. It is just a test. It can't be taken for granted. ;-). Have a great day.
